Sliding Fee scale is available to those who do not have insurance, their insurance is inactive, or do not want to use insurance. It is based on household income and length of session. Please call (319) 777-1258 for more information.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill they may receive for medical items and services. You will receive your Good Faith Estimate prior to services being rendered.

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

• Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
• What is my deductible and has it been met?
• Do I have a copay at the time of service?
• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
• Is a referral required from my primary care physician?
